Pilates Stretches

Yogi Explorers

3 - 6 Years

What is an explorer:

·         a person who explores a new or unfamiliar area.

·         someone who travels to places where no one has ever been in order to find out what is there.


This is exactly what our little yogi explorers are.


They are being introduce to yoga for the first time, by taking part in games, songs, stories, fun activities while still getting all the benefits from yoga. 


On a weekly basis we go on imaginary adventures, exploring while living out the story by doing various yoga poses.


Class layout (30 – 45 minutes):

·         Criss cross applesauce

·         Breathing exercise

·         Bell meditation

·         Lesson Introduction

·         Adventure story + poses

·         Art activity (story specific)

·         Relaxation/ Savasana

·         Pose for the week

·         Namaste

Yogi Seals 

7 - 12 years

This group is our yogi ‘navy’ seals.  They are being trained to be able to operate in all environments.  They are heroes.  They are the elite of the elite. They learn about teamwork, selfless acts and growing into themselves.

This age group is based on a playful exploration of sensory-motor awareness, yoga postures, breath, sounds, imagination, dance, visualisation, partner and group activities.   They also do age-appropriate meditation.  The sessions alternate between periods of movement and relative stillness. There are opportunities for expression, exploration and expansion through play, balanced with pausing in receptivity, reflection, and mindful awareness.

Pilates Stretches

Yogi Warriors

Special Needs - All Ages

Our Yogi Warriors are brave soldiers or fighters. 


The focus is to build strength, flexibility, balance, improve capacity to perceive and interact within the world.  They also get taught breathing techniques to help calm the mind and still the body. 


Our focus in class is to provide an opportunity for our warriors to play and learn in an environment that embraces each warrior’s uniqueness and supports their strength.

The classes also consist out of creative play, yoga games, partner interaction and using imaginations. 


The duration of the session, choice of postures, and extent of interaction with others is tailored to each warrior.

Family

Private or join other families.

In a world where parents and children are so busy, family yoga provides a wonderful place to spend healthy and happy, quality time together.


It provides a platform where children, parents, and even grandparents get to enjoy practicing yoga together and strengthen their bonds while they support each other and have fun.
